FUMC Backpack Buddies feed over 100 children each week and our numbers grow weekly. Each week bags of food are packed and distributed via our local schools to children needing nutrition on the weekend. Because of financial and food donations, we are able to continue to feed these children throughout each summer as well. This ministry is supported completely from private donations and foundation support. If you’d like to join our teams of Backpack Buddies, email Jamie Dark at jamiewdark@yahoo.com. The new CasseroleCARE ministry is up and running! UnitedMethodist Women is making it easy for you to reach out to friends and family (in or outside of our church) who need some TLC. Simply call the Trinity church office and arrange a time to pick up a casserole to deliver. Each casserole package includes a frozen casserole, rice, baking instructions and a beautiful card with scripture for a personal note. What better way to reach out and show you care than with a homemade casserole in hand…after all, we are Methodists! Trinity office: 256-234-2455
